The Boiling Sea Chapter 1 part 3 (of 4)
Well, I sort of lied last week when I said the site would be up this week, but even more so when I said the story would be concluded this week. We still have a little further to go. I also realized, I need to rethink the way I’m pacing this story. A 10 minute fight sequence shouldn’t be spread out over the span of a month. Oh well. I present, The Boiling Sea, Chapter 1, part 3 of 4. By the way, if you haven’t read any earlier posts, I suggest starting at right here

The Boiling Sea pt2
I bought the URL a few days ago but still haven’t gotten around to setting all the hosting up, and since this week has been absolute murder at work, this blog is still housing my comic. If you have not already read part 1, you can check it out here, PART 1 . Here is Chapter 1, part 2:

The Boiling Sea (Carpetbagger’s Edition)

Finally, I have the first chapter of The Boiling Sea just about nearing completion. I said the comic would start April 1st, but that turned out to be a real April Fool’s prank on myself because I can’t get my act together.
However, while the comic is nearing completion, I currently do not have a home for this comic to live. No www, no URL, no nothing. Do you think my comic can crash on your couch? In the mean time, I can no longer wait, sitting on my hands. I have to show some people my damn comic. Here is a preview of The Boiling Sea, Chapter 1. Read the rest of this entry »

New Site! And sketchbook stuff!
Hey, looks like my new site is just about up and only about a month behind schedule! Oh well, better late than never.
Also, the few people that have seen this blog might notice a change in the appearance. I found a wordpress template I really enjoy and it seems to go with my new site design, so with a little tweaking it might be a keeper.

Plugging my face blog
Just taking a moment to cross promote my other blog, Faces. I draw a couple of faces a day, and I post them. No 365 faces in a year or whatever gimmick makes these kind of projects blog-worthy…I’m just trying to draw some crazy faces.

Art breakdown
Progress is steadily rolling along with the new comic. The first arc is written and just about ready for production and the first few test pages are all but finished, needing only to have the text dropped in. While I’m ironing out many small details about the comic, I figure I would give a quick sneak peak into how the first few pages are coming along.

New Webcomic
Hey, just want to show a sneak peak at what I’ve been working on lately. This is a preview of work for a yet untitled webcomic I’m hoping to have out by the middle of March. Loosely based on Moby Dick by Herman Melville, it’s going to be like a sea faring buddy flick. Should be a lot of fun.
